The FA will look into claims of anti-Semitism by sections of West Ham's support during Sunday's 3-1 derby defeat to Tottenham.
West Ham fans are alleged to have directed anti-Semitic chants towards the Spurs supporters at White Hart Lane.
Tottenham are a club known for their connection with the Jewish community.
"We're investigating the matter and we'll speak to both clubs today," an FA spokesperson told Goal.com.
It is also claimed that the home fans were taunted in relation to an attack by Italian hooligans in Rome last week, which left one Spurs supporter in a critical condition ahead of the Europa League clash with Lazio.
Lazio fans are also alleged to have hurled anti-Semitic taunts towards Tottenham supporters during Thursday's clash.
UEFA have since opened an investigation and are expected to make announcement this week.
