According to reports in the Spanish media, Fabregas' agent Joseba Diaz met with Real president Ramon Calderon after the club's recent Champions League clash with Bayern Munich to discuss the possibility of the midfielder moving to the Bernabeu in the summer.

Calderon is reportedly willing to offer a players-plus-cash deal to the Gunners, with Fabregas valued in excess of £25million.

However, Fabregas, who joined Arsenal in 2003, has now moved to distance himself from the transfer speculation.

"It is always nice to hear good things said about me," he told Marca Radio.

"However, I am happy here [at Arsenal] and I have everyone's trust.

"This is very important for me - to be at a big club and have the complete confidence of the coach (Arsene Wenger)."

The 19-year-old added that he had spoken to his agent, who denied holding talks with Real.

Fabregas added: "If he said that at no time he spoke to Real Madrid, it means that he hasn't. I have complete confidence in him."
