West Ham will be roared on by nearly 6,000 fans at Wigan after Lucas Neill and chairman Eggert Magnusson paid their coach travel to the game.
The Hammers had their request for increased ticket allocation accepted ahead of the vital relegation clash and at least 34 coaches will travel from east London on Saturday morning.
The idea came from Neill and captain Nigel Reo-Coker, and Magnusson was happy to pitch in as the Hammers look to pull off a great escape.
West Ham need to beat fellow strugglers Wigan and Bolton to reach their target of 38 points before the trip to Manchester United on the final day of the season.
Magnusson said: "We are all feeling positive. Throughout the club everyone is confident that we can secure the results we need in our final three games to confirm our Premiership status.
"Everyone is confident that we can go to Wigan and achieve a great result. We have so many of our fans travelling up to the game that we are sure to have an extra advantage.
"The supporters were fantastic against Everton, as they always are. They are the best supporters in England. They are noisy and full of passion and that is exactly what we need from them at Wigan."
Barely six weeks ago West Ham looked doomed as they drifted 10 points from safety.
Magnusson seemed to spend most matches with his head in his hands as he watched West Ham, and his £100million investment, plummet towards the Coca-Cola Championship.
But a huge change in fortune against Blackburn sparked a run of four wins in six games which has helped breathed new life into the Hammers campaign.
Carlos Tevez and Bobby Zamora have rediscovered their goalscoring touch and scored nine in West Ham's last seven games between them.
And Magnusson added: "We believe in ourselves and we know we have an excellent chance of finishing the season on a high.
"Everyone has been working extremely hard, both on and off the pitch. The management, players and backroom staff are all feeling bright and looking forward to facing the coming challenges as a close team."
