Former Serbia striker Mateja Kezman is confident Paris St Germain fans will forgive him for the petulant act which earned him a club suspension.
The 29-year-old returned to training this morning after being in the wilderness since February 4 following an angry outburst during the Coupe de la Ligue semi-final defeat to Bordeaux.
Kezman threw his jersey on the pitch in disgust as he was being substituted but believes the fans - and coach Paul Le Guen - are now ready to put the matter behind them.
"I am confident. They (the fans) know my character," the former Chelsea and Fenerbahce player told www.lequipe.fr.
"They know who I am and what I did. I am not afraid.
"I spoke with Paul today. The past is the past. I made a mistake and I apologised.
"Physically I feel fine. I'm in shape."
