BRISBANE Roar coach Frank Farina was left wondering how his side failed to take home three points after scoring three times against Melbourne Victory.
Roar appeared to have the game in the bag when they led 3-1 at half-time after a series of spectacular strikes.
But Victory clawed their way back into the match to level the score at 3-3 in an epic encounter.
Farina admitted he was a little disappointed not to take three points from the contest but paid tribute to his side, who also went into the game with Robbie Kruse, Henrique and Craig Moore feeling the effect of a virus.
"When you go away from home and score three goals you expect to take a point at the minimum, but you most probably expect to take all three points," Farina said.
"I thought again we played quite well, as I thought we did last week. Before the match you would have taken the point away to the Champions, but we're a little bit disappointed not to have taken all three."
