SOCCEROOS shot-stopper Adam Federici says he's desperate to play at the highest level and revealed he could move away from current club Reading FC to chase that dream.
Federici, 25, is currently the number one goalkeeper for seventh-placed Championship outfit Reading, but told SkySports he wants to be playing Premier League football.
"I'm not going to hide my ambition," he said. "I've come a long way to play in this country and I want to be at the highest level.
"We've a realistic chance of getting promoted this season and if I can do it with Reading that's fantastic.
"Everyone wants to play Premier League football. It's the biggest league in the world and the most watched.
"I've had my little taste of it (having played two games for the Royals in 2007) and it's fantastic to be involved in it."
Federici is out of contract at the Madejski Stadium at the end of this season and should the Royals fail to win promotion he could move on.
But the Nowra-born goalkeeper said he is yet to decide on his future but would prefer to stay at Reading.
"I'm out of contract at the end of this season," he said. "We've been in discussions and I hope all goes well. I tend to just keep my head down and play.
"We'll have to see what happens, but I want to stay. Hopefully, we'll sort things out and it's all positive."
