Galatasaray also came from behind as they stayed within touching distance of Fenerbahce with a 2-1 victory over Ankaragucu.

Mustafa Ozkan had opened the scoring just before the hour mark, but a six-minute brace from half-time substitute Necati Ates earnt them the win.

Ankaragucu had Sedat Bayrak sent off in the final minute for a second yellow card.

Kayserispor suffered a setback as they lost 3-2 to rivals Sivasspor.

After Sivasspor opened through Pini Balili, the visitors equalised thanks to goalkeeper Dimitar Ivankov's penalty.
