Sir Alex Ferguson does not care whether Manchester City end their 35-year trophy drought or not at Wembley tomorrow.
The fact Manchester United can secure the title minutes before City take the field at Wembley has become a major talking point.
Some feel it would result in United stealing City's thunder, others that it dilutes the Red Devils' record 19th championship.
Most believe it to work against both occasions and feel a sense of sadness the FA Cup final could not be afforded a day on its own.
Ferguson understands the argument, although with UEFA demanding Wembley should not be used for two weeks prior to the Champions League final on May 28, he is not sure what could be done about it.
In any event, he is far too embroiled in his own issues to worry about what is happening in north-west London.
"I am only interested in ourselves," he said.
"I don't care what happens down there.
"I understand the disappointment of a lot of people because the cup final was always a day on its own, for being in the house and sitting down to watch it on whatever channel it happened to be on..
"But, because of the European final, nothing can be played at the stadium for two weeks, so it has to be tomorrow."
