All Craig Goodwin's dreams came true tonight - and it almost left him speechless.
In an incredible 90 minute shift to rival the best the A-League has ever seen, Goodwin struck twice to give his club their second FFA Cup with a 2-1 win over Sydney FC.
But he could have had more with near misses elsewhere in the match and a touch of brilliance near the end when he weaved his way out of the corner through two Sydney defenders.
The right wing flier claimed the Mark Viduka Medal for his efforts without any close rivals...but was almost dumbstruck by his own brilliance.

"This is the dream," he said at full-time. "It's exactly how you envision it.
"It went better than what I expected. I'm ecstatic to score two goals as I did, Just jubilation right now, I'm lost for words."
The 26 year old spent two years in Holland at Sparta Rotterdam, playing 47 games for six goals, but came back to Adelaide this season, despite overtures from Sydney to move to the Sky Blues.
Now he looks likely to be an instant call up for the next Socceroos squad.

He added: "It's as good as anything I've ever done in my career.
"We've won the Grand Final but this is as good as that. When I came back from Europe, this is exactly what I wanted.
"Now we have to focus on the league and keep this momentum and these performances going.
"We fought together and tonight was just out night. We’ve got a good squad that sticks together off the pitch.”"
