Victorian NPL club Heidelberg United qualified for the FFA Cup last eight for the third time on a night where A-League trio Melbourne City, Adelaide United and Western Sydney progressed.
City knocked off Newcastle Jets 1-0 at AAMI Park, with theΒ beaten 2017/18 A-League grand finalists the only top flight casualty on Wednesday night.
Heidelberg cruised past Adelaide Comets 4-0, while the Reds squeezed past Queensland Lions 1-0 and Western Sydney got past Bonnyrigg White Eagles 2-1.

Reuben Way slid home the first goal inside the opening 10 minutes, before Alex Schiavo doubled their lead in the 34th minute at the back post after Sean Ellis' scuffed effort.
Adrian Zahra laid off for Ellis to curl home the third with Tom Cahill adding another from the spot with five minutes to go.

German recruit Alexander Baumjohann volleyed home the opener before Tynan Diaz levelled with a superb free-kick, setting up a grand stand finish.
Defender Brendan Hamill settled the contest with the winner 10 minutes later from the impressive Baumjohann's cross.
