MELBOURNE Victory striker Danny Allsopp has been cleared by the A-League match review committee for his physical altercation with Sydney FC coach John Kosmina.
Allsopp crashed into Kosmina on the side of the pitch and knocked the veteran coach to the ground during Melbourne's come-from-behind 3-2 win over Sydney FC.
But the match review panel deemed the incident was dealt with by referee Matthew Breeze at the time it occurred and Allsopp is free to play against the Roar on Friday night.
Meanwhile, Newcastle Jets and Central Coast Mariners have been issued a notice alleging team misconduct after the final whistle of the fiery clash on the weekend.
Both teams engaged in a melee and the FFA may hit the clubs with a fine, deduction of points or a combination thereof as a result of the altercation.
Mariners striker Dylan Macallister received a one-match ban for his red card offence from the clash.
