The FIFA Executive committee have suspended the Samoa Football Soccer Federation with immediate effect following the organisation`s non-compliance with a normalisation committee set-up to help with their critical financial situation.
The FIFA Emergency committee introduced the normalisation committee on June 9 to help deal with the fedaration`s financial crisis that threatened both the organisation and the FIFA Goal project.
However, executive members refused to work with and implement the committee`s decisions which led FIFA to suspend the association.
It means Samoa will now be unable to take part in FIFA competitions.
