We've got the exclusive first pic of Socceroo Celt Scott McDonald with his new boss at Celtic, manager Gordon Strachan.
The snap was taken in the boardroom at Parkhead just moments after Scott signed his new contract in the $1.8 million move from Motherwell.
And today Motherwell manager Maurice Malpas urged his Celtic-bound striker to treat every game as his last for the club after the Australian scored twice in a 2-0 win over Dunfermline.
McDonald showed his mind is still on the job at hand by converting a 51st-minute penalty before a cool finish 11 minutes later.
Malpas confirmed the 23-year-old will not play against Celtic next Saturday and he will leave him out to give others a chance before the end of the season.
But he is set to start at home to Kilmarnock on Tuesday after taking his goal tally to 15 for the season.
Malpas said: "You have to give the boy a lot of credit. A lot of people wondered whether he would go through the motions. You saw his attitude, his second-half performance especially.
"There was a big weight off his shoulders, now he knows he has got his move and I think he wants to go out with a bang.
"I think there will be far too much pressure at Celtic Park, I would rather just play someone else, but I would imagine if he is fit on Tuesday he will play.
"We will look at other players, there will come a time when I will say 'that is you finished'. Hopefully he keeps on thinking that his next game will be his last."
Malpas is now hoping to bring in a striker or for someone to emerge from within the squad with the same "drive" to improve.
"We can't just go out and buy somebody or go into a Bosman scenario and get someone as good as him, because others will beat us to it," the Well boss said.
"Hopefully someone steps up and takes the mantle."
Now McDonald is being hailed as the the new Viduka at Celtic, according to Queensland Roar and former Celtic ace Simon Lynch.
The Australia international will remain at Motherwell's Fir Park for the rest of the season before officially joining Celtic on July 1, 2007.
McDonald, who was the subject of a failed bid by Rangers at the end of January, has signed a three-year contract with Celtic, with the club having the option of a further year.
McDonald admits his transfer to Celtic is a "dream come true".
He told www.celticfc.net: "I'm delighted and it's a dream come true for me.
"I'm now looking forward to pulling on my boots as a Celtic player from July.
"It's a great day for the whole family.
"My dad's side of the family are all massive Celtic fans and I was brought up in Australia as a Celtic supporter as well.
"They still haven't come back down to earth since I told them the news.
"It will take a while to sink in, but they can't wait to see me pull on the green and white Hoops for the first time."
It will be McDonald's second spell under Celtic boss Gordon Strachan, after they worked together at Southampton.
McDonald said: "It will be a great challenge for me at Celtic.
"There are a lot of quality players at this club but I'm willing to fight for my place."
Today Roar star Simon Lynch paid tribute to McDonald - and hailed him as a future star of the side.
"(Mark) Viduka was one of the most gifted players Scotland has seen in years and it was some experience just to see the things he could do with a ball," he told Scottish newspaper, the Daily Record.
"If Scott makes himself half as popular as Viduka then he'll soon become popular among the fans," he said today.
"When I first moved to Australia, one of the first things I was asked was whether I knew Viduka and when I said I had played with big Mark the locals were chuffed.
"Scott has international recognition now so there's no telling just how far he can go in the game.
"They are obviously different types of players but I can see McDonald making a big name for himself at Celtic."
He added: "Scott is a confident wee guy and he'll certainly need that kind of personality at a club like Celtic.
"A number of world-class players have gone to Parkhead and maybe not hit the heights predicted because of the pressure.
"But Scott has no shortage of self-belief which is exactly what you need playing alongside so many big names."
McDonald is hoping to leave the Lanarkshire club on a high.
He said: "I will always have great memories of my time at Motherwell and I'd like to thank the people at the club for everything they've done for me over the last three years.
"I've enjoyed my time at Fir Park immensely and I've made a lot of good friends at the club.
"During the time I have left at Motherwell, I will try to be as professional as possible and score as many goals as I can."
