Melbourne Victory hitman Besart Berisha's biggest goal each season is just getting into the best possible shape for pre-season...but he admits it's getting harder and harder.
The 31 year old has been a goalscoring sensation since he arrived as an unknown Albanian at Brisbane Roar five years ago.
Since then he's found the back of the net more than 80 times from just 130 matches or so and showing no signs of slowing down, with 18 goals under his belt last season alone.
But he tells the new issue of FourFourTwo that he doesn't actually set himself targets on the number he'll aim to score each season.
And instead he concentrates on just getting his fitness up to speed before the first game of the season.
"My targets are about every pre-season getting myself in the best possible condition," he reveals in the A-League preview special edition of FourFourTwo.
"Every year it gets harder. Everyone knows how I play, so I have to find ways to challenge defenders and bring myself to another level."
Berisha still has around 18 months left on his contract and he has no plans to go anywhere else, happy to have found a home in Melbourne after his switch from Roar in 2014.
"The club is also happy with me," he tells FourFourTwo magazine. "I love this city. It reminds me of Europe so I feel like home.
"People are always talking about football and I love playing in front of full stadiums which makes me want to stay here.
"My target is to win trophies and I can do that with Melbourne."
