Following the recently released strategic vision for football in Victoria - FFV are now beginning the recruitment process for a number of key positions in the new organisational structure.
• General Manager Football (Ref #2432C)
The position will have a strong focus on delivering FFV commitment to enhance football services and experiences for all customers, including the broader Victorian community.
It will provide strong leadership and direction over football development and operations.
The key purpose is to lead, advise, supervise and otherwise direct all long term and day to day activities associated with Talented Player Development, Game Development, Competitions, Registrations, Referees, and Grievance and Discipline.
• General Manager Business Development (Ref #2432B)
This position’s key purpose is to generate additional revenue to invest in the growth of Victorian football.
The position will manage all business development opportunities for FFV, including sponsorship of existing competitions, licensing, existing and newly created events, new customer competition models including Futsal, Women, and Beach Football, venue and retail management, and the business development of the Victorian Summer League.
• General Manager Finance, administration and IT (Ref #2432D)
This position will oversee the financial, administrative and information technology requirements of FFV, providing strong leadership to ensure that the organisation’s operations are well supported through robust and efficient systems and processes.
• Technical Director Talented Player Development
Reporting to the General Manager Football, but also working closely with Football Federation Australia’s Technical Director to ensure there is consistency in the technical direction of Australian football, as delivered in Victoria. This role will develop, implement and manage programs and initiatives for talented football players, including the development of coaches appointed to positions within the Talented Player Development Pathway.
• Summer League Business Development Manager (Ref #2432E)
Driving and supporting the development of Zone Clubs and the Summer League competition, this role will work closely with Zones to ensure a viable and successful competition is established and effective partnerships in each Zone are developed with clubs, local communities and local governments.
• Government Relationship Manager (Ref #2432F)
A key component of the new strategic direction is ensuring strong relationships are formed with all levels of government. With facilities being a key challenge for the growth of Victorian football, this position will drive strategies between FFV and government partners at both state and local level.
