The finals of both the Premier League and Division One Night Series will be played at E&D Litis Stadium, Brittania Road, Mount Hawthorn. The Division One final between Balcatta and Canning will kick off at 6.00pm, with the Premier League starting at 8.30pm.
Premier League - Floreat Athena v Perth SC
The McInerney Ford Night Series supported by The Sunday Times comes to a mouth watering close on Saturday night as 2007 League Champions Floreat Athena take on Night Series holders Perth SC at Litis Stadium.
The two glamour clubs are unbeaten during the competition thus far, with Graham Normanton’s Perth boasting five wins and a draw whilst Michael Roki’s Floreat aren’t far behind with four wins and two draws.
Perth will be aiming for their third consecutive Night Series championship, a competition that has been extremely fond of them in recent times. In form striker Andreas Oliviera will be the danger man, the prolific marksman having netted nine times in the competition already. The midfield class will come from Antonio Naglieri and recent recruit Andrija Jukic whilst the experienced custodian Gareth Deeg will be trying to shut out the dangerous Floreat attackers.
Despite Athena having home advantage, they will need to find a way to keep quiet the most dangerous attack in the pre-season, with Ante Kovacevic the man shouldered with the responsibility. New signing David Foster will be looking to continue his good pre-season form up front for Floreat while the hard working Paul Vatistas is the engine in midfield.
Division One – Balcatta v Canning
The Division One final will serve as the curtain raiser for the Premier League, with Canning and Balcatta kicking off at the Litis Stadium at 6.00pm.
Women’s Premier League – National Training Centre v Queens Park
The Women’s Smarter than Smoking Premier Night Series Final is at Coker Park in Cannington on Sunday at 7pm, with the young guns of the NTC taking on a resurgent Queens Park.
