A young competition winner picked football when given the choice of an all-star training session in any of the four footy codes
In another sign that football is now the most popular code in the country, young Georgia Stikovic opted for a football training session with ex-Socceroo captain Paul Wade and Melbourne Victory striker Danny Allsopp after winning the Adidas "Four Codes" competition.
With a choice of rugby league, rugby union, AFL or football, Georgia showed maturity beyond her years by picking Allsopp and Wade to run a session for her sister Alana's team, Macarthur Rams Girls Under 14s.
“It’s great that Alana chose me to come along to her training, and I had fun meeting her and her whole team,” said Allsopp. “They looked like they enjoyed the training, and I can imagine that Alana will be pretty popular as she helped her whole team get a new jersey and a new pair of adidas boots.”
“This was a great initiative from adidas, and a great way for footballers from all levels who share a love for the game to come together and have some fun,” he added.
