RUSSIA striker Alexander Kerzhakov has told England they have no chance of reaching Euro 2008.
The Sevilla star will line-up for his country in Saturday's qualifier in Israel knowing victory will all but secure their passage and end England's hopes of reaching next summer's finals.
He said in the Sun: "England will not be in Euro 2008. Russia will not fail in Israel. We're going there to win and we will win. We will not miss out on the three points this Saturday."
Kerzhakov, part of the Russia team that beat England 2-1 in Moscow last month, added: "After the England game, this is the most important game Russia has played.
"Our dream is to go to Euro 2008 and we're on the verge of that. We cannot fail."
Israel, who are without captain Yossi Benayoun through injury, have a strong record at home also claimed a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture in Moscow.
But Kerzhakov said: "Russia are a better team than Israel. They drew against us in Moscow with a bit of luck. Now we're going to pay them back.
"We cannot fail to win, even if we face 13 players.
"But we're not going there thinking it's over. We know we have to fight hard."
He added: "I am sorry for the English. They missed their chance in Moscow and their last game in the group, versus Croatia, will be almost a friendly."
