Villarreal striker Diego Forlan heads a 21-man squad named by Uruguay coach Oscar Washington Tabarez for the international friendly against Australia next month.
Forlan, who scored his 50th league goal for his club at the weekend, is one of six Spanish-based players included in the list.
Team-mate Sebastian Viera, Real Zaragoza defender Carlos Diogo, Celta Vigo midfielders Pablo Garcia and Fabian Canobbio, and Deportivo La Coruna forward Fabian Estoyanoff are also included in the squad, which has no home-based players.
Goalkeeper Fabian Carini and midfielder Alvaro Recoba, who have just won their second Serie A titles with Internazionale, are also named.
The friendly game against Australia on June 2 will be played in Sydney and will be used by Tabarez as a warm-up to the Copa America.
The June 26 to July 15 tournament takes place in Venezuela, with Uruguay playing in Group A alongside the hosts, Bolivia and Peru.
