Former Socceroos midfielder James Holland hit the scoresheet as his Austrian club LASK Linz claimed a big win in the Europa League qualifying rounds overnight.
Ex-Adelaide United and Newcastle Jets man Holland, 29, scored his first goal for LASK in a 4-0 win over Norwegian outfit Lillestrom in the first leg at home.
The 15-time Socceroo fired in a fine strike to make it 2-0 on the stroke of half-time.
His combative tackling also led to the third goal, a superb long-range strike from Thomas Goiginger.
"That was a great feeling, but above all, it's important that we won," Holland said.
If LASK win the tie, they’ll likely play Turkish giants Besiktas for a spot in the Europa League group stage.
Elsewhere, Danny Vukovic was on the bench as Genk triumphed 5-0 over Luxembourg club Fola Esch.
Apostolos Giannou started and replaced in the 90th minute as AEK Larnaca drew 0-0 at Dundalk.
Tommy Oar was absent as APOEL won 5-0 over Estonian club Flora Tallinn.
