Frankfurt have confirmed that they are in talks with Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner.
The Bundesliga outfit released a statement on their official website on Tuesday to reveal discussions were taking place and should be concluded by Thursday.
"Sports director Bruno Huebner in this regard is in close contact with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, the final decision regarding Bendtner should be taken in the next two days," the statement read.
Bendtner is deemed surplus to requirements at Emirates Stadium and spent last season at Serie A champions Juventus, having been loaned to Sunderland the previous term.
The Dane, 25, made his Arsenal debut in October 2005 and the club have not won a trophy since.
Frankfurt finished sixth in the German top-flight last term, qualifying for the play-off round of the UEFA Europa League.
