Germany midfielder Torsten Frings has denied an approach for his services has been made by Juventus.
The Werder Bremen playmaker has been the focus of several reports in Italy linking him with a move to the Serie B side as part as the Turin club prepares to compete in Serie A next season.
But Frings told Arena television after his side's 2-0 win over Mainz on Sunday that "there is no truth in it."
Bremen and Germany team-mate Miroslav Klose is another reported target of the Bianconeri, who recently signed Bayern Munich's Hasan Salihamidzic on a free transfer for next season.
Juventus, who were stripped of the 2005-06 Scudetto and relegated to Serie B as punishment for match-fixing, are three points clear of Napoli at the top of the table.
