NIKE have launched the new ad for their "Write the Future" campaign, which is an insight into the world's best players' potential futures, including Cristiano Ronaldo meeting Homer Simpson and Wayne Rooney ending up a hobo!
Ronaldo, Rooney, Drogba and Cannavaro all star in the ad made by Hollywood director and producer Alejandro G Inarritu.
The moments of destiny include a Cannavaro goal-line clearance from Drogba which results in the Italian making chat show appearances and even a song being released in praise of the goal-line clearance.
Rooney's career-defining moment sees him take on Franck Ribery. He loses the ball and we fast forward to Rooney living in a caravan and working as a groundsman, with his career in tatters.
Rooney wins the ball back and his future has changed dramatically, with a knighthood on the way.
While Ronaldo plays his part by taking a vital free-kick for Portugal and we discover that if he scores he can expect to have a movie made of his life story and a stadium named in his honour.
It is a quite brilliant ad to warm us up for the World Cup next month, so click here to view it and let us know what you think below.
