Fulham striker Diomansy Kamara will undergo reconstructive surgery on a knee injury on Friday and is not expected to return until early next year.
The 27-year-old ruptured a cruciate ligament playing for Senegal against Liberia last month.
"The club estimates that Diomansy will be out of action for six months," said a statement on the club's website, fulhamfc.com.
Goalkeeper Antti Niemi had surgery on a wrist injury at the weekend but is expected to be back in training within three weeks.
