NORTH Queensland Fury are hungry to tee up a clash with Premier League-bound Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Wolves are almost certain to be gracing the top flight of English football next season and if negotiations can be concluded successfully then Fury would fly west to Perth, with Dave Mitchell's Glory team also lined up to face the Midland club.
New Fury director of football Michael Petrillo told the Townsville Bulletin: "We're certainly very keen. We've got to sign off and get approval from the FFA and we're in discussions with them as we speak."
The club is busy trying to arrange a packed and varied pre-season series of matches. Earlier this week au.fourfourtwo.com revealed plans for a three-match tour of Malaysia and Singapore ahead of the club's inaugural campaign.
Club officials say they are now waiting for a concrete proposal to cast their eyes over before making a final decision.
English powerhouse Liverpool has a huge fan base in south-east Asia and with Robbie Fowler in their ranks, Fury are expected to pack out stadiums for all three games with the former Reds hero known as "God".
