Robbie Fowler struck as early as the seventh minute for the home team, who had Paul Kohler dismissed in the first half, and they held that lead until five minutes from time when the visitors levelled matters.
Fowler's early strike, teed up by James Robinson, saw the marquee man display delightful control before finding the bottom right hand corner of the net.
