Neill only joined EPL side Everton four months ago but Gala are preparing a big money offer for the star, according to the press in Liverpool.

But Everton boss David Moyes is tipped to spurn the offer as he seeks to expand his side in a bid to improve their league position rather than shed stars in pursuit of money.

Neill struggled to break into the first team at Everton after lacking match fitness following his departure from West Ham at the end of last season an his protracted search for a new club.

But after arriving on a free transfer, Neill buckled down in training and forced his way into the side and has been a regular start for the last couple of months, making 12 starts and three appearances off the bench.

His cause has been helped by the injury crisis that hit Everton's defence, forcing Neill into several different roles but still managing to impress.

Now Galatasaray are putting together a $1.8million bid for the star, spurred on by his European eligibility having not made an appearance for Everton in their Europa League campaign.
