EVEN LA star Landon Donovan admitted hot-head Galaxy player Kev Harmse is a nutter after the defender's red card in last night's friendly with Sydney FC.

Harmse was sent off for a second bookable offence, in the 75th minute after he'd pushed over Sydney FC's Adam Biddle then apparently trod on his forearm.
“He's fine, he's just a bit nutty sometimes," said Donovan after the game. "You guys don't know him the way we do.
“Sometimes your emotions get going when there's a lot of people watching. At the end of the day you can shake hands and be professional at the end of the game.
“I think everyone would've been happy, except a few guys in there [in the dressing room]. The crowd was fantastic and pretty much everyone got what they wanted," he added of the entertaining match.
US World Cup player Donovan – who scored in the second half as the Galaxy launched a mini fightback that ended in a 5-3 loss to the A-League side - described the night as “awesome”.
