Omar Bravo's last minute penalty enabled Sporting Kansas City to deny LA Galaxy victory in Major League Soccer.
Sean Franklin gave the Galaxy, Western Conference leaders, a 25th minute lead - only for Julio Cesar to level 18 minutes from time for the Eastern Conference's second-placed side.
Franklin restored the lead just two minutes later but Bravo's spot-kick earned Kansas a 2-2 draw from a game which saw Galaxy's David Beckham among six players booked - three from each team.
