AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has leapt to the defence of misfiring striker Alberto Gilardino.
The Italy international, who is yet to find the net this season, endured jeers from the Rossoneri faithful in Monday's 1-1 draw with Fiorentina and was substituted after 65 minutes.
Galliani told Gazzetta dello Sport: "It is ungenerous of the San Siro crowd. They have been spoilt.
"Not to worry, it happens also to the tenors in the theatre of Parma."
