Milan confirmed on Tuesday that Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos was having a medical at the club, a day after they completed a deal to bring Andriy Shevchenko back to the San Siro after two years at Chelsea.

Brazil star Ronaldinho was another big name recruit and Galliani claims coach Carlo Ancelotti now has all the tools he needs to challenge bitter rivals Internazionale for the Serie A title.

"I believe that Ancelotti must be very happy with the market, and now they are his problem because he has to win the Scudetto," he said.

"It's a title-winning squad and our coach knows that. That doesn't mean that we can't also lose it, but of course we have to fight until the last day."

However, Ancelotti will not be able to test out his new look Milan side immediately as Galliani revealed that Senderos is not fully fit.

He added: "We will only be able to have him available in 10 days because he has a small physical problem."

Galliani also moved to reassure fans that Kaka - who has long been linked with a move to Shevchenko's former club Chelsea - would be staying at the San Siro.

"In the issue of Shevchenko, Kaka was never, ever talked about and so the fans have to stay calm, it's two years that we've been repeating it," added Galliani.
