AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has brushed aside rumours linking Andriy Shevchenko with a move to Real Madrid in January.
The Ukrainian striker has been a reported target of the Spanish champions as a possible replacement for injured forward Ruud Van Nistelrooy.
Van Nistelrooy will be sidelined for the rest of the campaign having undergone knee surgery.
"Shevchenko is going nowhere," said Galliani. "He will soon start playing."
The 32-year-old has struggled to make an impact since returning to the San Siro after a two-year spell in the Premier League with Chelsea.
He has yet to score after six Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri.
