Gamba Osaka moved up to fourth in the J.League after coming from behind to beat Omiya Ardija 3-2.
Keun-Ho Lee gave Gamba the perfect start after five minutes but Naomichi Ishi equalised on the stroke of half-time and scored his second after 59 minutes to give Omiya the lead.
Sota Nakazawa (75) then levelled the match before Seung-Yong Kim grabbed what proved to be the winning goal two minutes later.
Gamba are now five points off Kashiwa Reysol at the top of the table, but have played two games less.
The win for Gamba also saw them leapfrog Sanfrecce Hiroshima, who threw away the lead and had a man sent off as they lost 3-1 at home to Cerezo Osaka.
Tadanari Lee fired Sanfrecce in front after two minutes but Shu Kurata pulled his side level after 33 minutes before Kazuyuki Morisaki was dismissed just before the interval.
Cerezo made their one-man advantage count in the second half and secured the points thanks to goals from Hiroshi Kiyotake (49) and Rui Komatsu (51).
Albirex Niigata won 2-1 at Kashima Antlers to move ahead of them into 11th place in the table.
Takuya Nozawa gave the hosts the lead with a 56th-minute penalty, but Bruno Lopes replied from the spot just three minutes later before Yong Cheol scored a late winner for the visitors.
