BUENOS AIRES, March 29 (Clausura) - The Argentinian Football Association (AFA) have postponed two of this weekend`s Clausura games because of floods in Santa Fe province.
River Plate's trip to Colon on Sunday and Rosario Central`s clash with Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata on Saturday are the matches to fall by the wayside.
A statement from Santa Fe chief police Jose Maria Gudino confirmed that, because they would be attending to people affected by the weather, they would not be able to guarantee security at the games.
The statement said: "We need to count on as many eligible men of our staff as possible to take care of the difficult weather conditions the province is experiencing."
The matches will now be rescheduled, though no dates have yet been set.
