Australia youth international Ben Garuccio netted a stunning free-kick and grabbed an assist as Hearts defeated Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish League Cup overnight.
Garuccio made it 2-0 in the 32nd minute, curling a sensational free-kick around the wall and into the top corner.
A minute later, Garuccio got down the left flank and crossed for Uche Ikpeazu to power a header home to make it 3-0.
The ex-Adelaide United man was replaced after 83 minutes as Hearts sealed top spot in their League Cup group.
Oliver Bozanic was on the bench for Hearts, while Ryan Edwards was absent.
Elsewhere overnight, Danny Vukovic kept a clean sheet as Genk won 4-0 at Lokeren upon the commencement of the Belgian Divizion A season.
Tomi Juric was absent again for Luzern in Switzerland, while Milos Degenek helped Red Star to a 2-0 win in Serbia.
