Genoa have completed the double signing of Real Zaragoza's Argentinian forward Diego Milito and Serbian midfielder Bosko Jankovic from Palermo, according to reports.
Reports in Italian newspapers Gazzetta and Corriere dello Sport claimed the Serie A side had completed the transfer of Milito, who played for Genoa previously between 2004 and 2005, but there were complications over whether the deal had been pushed through before the deadline in Italy had passed.
The newspapers report the deal became complicated after Milito's Spanish owners were trying to push the forward to join Tottenham.
However, the reports still suggest the deal was eventually completed, despite the fact that Genoa are yet to confirm the news on their website.
Zaragoza also refused to confirm to PA Sport whether the transfer had gone through.
The transfer of Jankovic meanwhile has been confirmed by the player's former club Palermo.
A statement on their official website, www.ilpalermocalcio.it, read: "US Citta di Palermo have agreed the transfer of midfielder Bosko Jankovic to Genoa.
"The Serbian player joins the Rossoblu on loan while the club reserve the right to a fee for co-ownership."
Genoa are still to confirm the deal.
