Daniel Georgievski will miss Melbourne Victory's highly anticipated clash with Sydney FC after coming off injured in Monday night's clash.
Scans confirmed the Victory defender suffered a fractured collarbone during a 6-1 drubbing of Wellington Phoenix.
Georgievski was substituted out of the match against the Phoenix at Etihad Stadium after colliding heavily with Jacob Tratt early in the second half.

Georgievski underwent surgery on Tuesday to repair the damage, with a return date to be determined following the procedure.
The injury is similar in nature to the one which sidelined James Troisi after Victory's opening round match against Brisbane Roar.
Victory plays Sydney FC at Allianz Stadium in Round 5.
