Germany goalkeeping coach Andreas Kopke has dismissed suggestions Jens Lehmann is set for a shock return to the national team.
A report in the Suddeutsche Zeitung had indicated the Stuttgart goalkeeper was considering coming out of international retirement.
The former Arsenal stopper called time on his Germany career, after they lost in the final of Euro 2008, and no one has yet established themselves as his successor.
But, speaking as he prepared for tomorrow's World Cup qualifier against Liechtenstein in Leipzig, Kopke said: "The fact is we are not thinking about this - and we will not be thinking about it."
Lehmann's club-mate Mario Gomez added: "It's funny. I have just spoken on the phone with Jens. He himself knows not a lot about it."
Hannover goalkeeper Robert Enke will play against Liechtenstein.
