Socceroos defender Alex Gersbach is after a Norwegian Cup trophy to add to his maiden Tippeligaen title won with Rosenborg.
Rosenborg, who Gersbach joined from Sydney FC at the start of the year, won the league easily, finishing 15 points above second-placed Brann.
The Troll Kids face Kongsvinger this month in the NM Cupen final. Rosenborg won the double in 2015 and are now seeking to record back-to-back doubles for the first time ever by any club in Norwegian football history.
"It's been a really exciting season for me coming to the team in February," Gersbach said.
"It's been a really successful season for us. We won the league pretty comfortably and on the 20 November we've got the Cup final. Hopefully we can win that too and get the double.
We've got some history in the making hopefully.
"They did the double last year and if we win it this year it will be the first time in Norwegian history that a team has won it two years in a row."
Gersbach has made a strong impression in his debut campaign in Norway, making 19 appearances. The 19-year-old is now in Thailand on Socceroo duties.
The teenager said Australia wants nothing but three points from Tuesday's World Cup qualifier.
"We took two points out of the past two games, which wasn't a bad result," he said.
"But 100 per cent we need three points from this game and we'll be searching for nothing else.
"I'm expecting the Thais to be pretty good, to be pretty sharp, to be skillful. But we should have enough power and have enough of a game-plan to get past them."
Gersbach has been fast-tracked into the national team set-up after starring in the A-League. The fullback played for the three junior Australian national sides before making his intermational debut against Tajikistan earlier this year.
The full-back said he is starting to find his feet with the senior team.
"It's a big difference I guess," he said.
"I was in the Under-17s and then the Under-20s, jumped quickly to the Under-23s and then quickly to the Socceroos again. I didn't really have much time to settle down with the Olyroos really.
"So I guess that's sort of helped me as I've jumped quickly. It's a big change I guess but in the end all the systems we play and things like that are similiar. That helps being in the system from a young age."
