Socceroo defender Alex Gersbach has been linked with a move to English Championship club Barnsley FC.
According to reports, Barnsley are interested in signing the Aussie fullback.
Gersbach, who is currently in China with the Olyroos, is after a move away from his Norwegian club Rosenborg in a search for more regular game-time.
He made 15 appearances in the Eliteserien last season.
FourFourTwo understands Barnsley are after a left back to replace departing defender Andy Yiadom.
The Tykes are cashed up after being bought by an overseas consortium in December.
Gersbach, who debuted for the Socceroos in 2016, has four caps for Australia.
The 20-year-old joined Rosenborg from Sydney FC in January 2016.
A number of Australians have played at Oakwell in the past, including Ryan Williams and Jacob Burns.
