GHANA forward Andre Ayew has promised his side will continue to do all they can to make their country and continent proud after enjoying a dream start to their World Cup campaign.

However, he also warned against getting too carried away with their 1-0 win over Serbia, pointing out they have tough hurdles still to negotiate.
Ghana, who reached the last 16 on their World Cup debut four years ago before being knocked out by Brazil, are in a strong position after seeing off Serbia with a late Asamoah Gyan penalty.
But, with games against wounded Australia and group favourites Germany to come, they cannot take anything for granted.
"We are happy and we hope that we are going to continue like this because this is just the beginning. The hard times are to come in the next two games," said Ayew following the victory at Loftus Versfeld stadium in Pretoria.
"South Africa is behind us and all of the African teams. We are going to do everything to make South Africa and Ghana proud."
Ghana looked eager to get forward at every opportunity against Serbia but neither goalkeeper was truly tested during an evenly-fought first half of yesterday's game.
There were more opportunities at both ends after the break, with Ghana hitting the outside of the post through Gyan at the start of the second half and Ayew and Serbia striker Nikola Zigic both missing decent openings for their sides.
Ghana seemed to have received a huge boost in the 74th minute when Serbia lost Aleksandar Lukovic to a red card.
But that incident actually appeared to galvanise Radomir Antic's side and in the next five minutes the European nation went close through Marko Pantelic, Nemanja Vidic and Branislav Ivanovic.
However, it would be four-time African champions Ghana who would go on to take the spoils when man of the match Gyan slammed home from the penalty spot in the 84th minute after Zdravko Kuzmanovic handled a cross.
The victory saw Ghana become the first African team to win a match at this year's World Cup.
Ayew told Supersport: "It was a very difficult game. We wanted to win and we wanted to make our coach (Serbian Milovan Rajevac) proud, playing against his country.
"There is a lot of team spirit. The players on the bench are always helping us - I want to thank (Stephen) Appiah and (Sulley) Muntari for all their confidence in all of us. We thank God for this victory and we hope it is just the beginning."
Gyan had a chance to double Ghana's lead late on but he struck the woodwork for the second time with a shot that came back off the far post.
The impressive Gyan, quoted on www.ghanafa.org, said after the game: "This is all I have worked for, and to be man of the match, it is fantastic.
"I was just lucky to score the winning goal. Every one of us wanted to win. We showed a lot of experience and we were better today.
"I have to say thank you to the crowd. Every African is behind us. I salute all of them. We won this match for you."
