THE Argentinian Clausura has again been marred by violence after a Gimnasia fan was reportedly shot in a clashes preceding the 1-1 draw with Tigre.
Minutes before the match's kick-off, two groups of Gimnasia Ultras clashed outside the ground, leading to one fan being shot in the chest and two more being stabbed the Economista newspaper has reported.
All three have been taken to the Jujuy Pablo Soria Hospital, where the gunshot victim remains in a critical condition, whereas those treated with stab wounds are now reported to be stable.
It is believed that the clash was between two groups known as San Cayetano and Campo Verde, who have been involved in clashes since the Jujuy-based club returned to the top flight in 2005.
