Roar coach Frank Farina is set to sign former Adelaide United striker Dez Giraldi.
His hopes of joining the Roar have improved slightly following the departures of former Brazil Under-17 international Mezenga and the out-of-shape Carioca.
"We've still got two spots to fill on the roster," Farina said.
