Teenage starlet Jacob Italiano is finally on his way to Germany after he was released by Perth Glory along with Walter Scott and Fabio Ferreira.
The attacking midfielder signed a deal with Borussia Monchengladbach in December 2017 but has been waiting until he turns 18 in July to make the move to the Bundesliga giants.
"We wish him well as he takes up an exciting new opportunity in Germany," said Glory football director Jacob Burns.
“He has a very bright future ahead of him and we look forward to seeing him continue the development that he has shown, initially through the academy and subsequently the first team here at Perth Glory.”
Also exiting the club is Portuguese winger Ferreira who struggled to cement a starting slot during his season at HBF Park, despite making 13 appearances and scoring twice.
Teenage leftback Walter Scott, 19, earned a promotion from the Youth League side but couldn't add to the two appearances he made last term and was also let go.
Burns added: “We would like to thank Fabio and Walter for the dedication they showed and the contribution they made to what was a fantastic season for the club.
“We wish them every success in their future endeavours."
