According to local paper the Evening Chronicle, Good is likely to be part of a major cleanout by Toon manager Rafa Benitez. The Australian is contracted to Newcastle United for another 18 months.

Good joined the English club in July 2012 on a six-year deal from Melbourne City. But the centre back's time at the Magpies has been marred by constant injury.

The 23-year old spent time on loan at Bradford City and Dundee United in 2013 and 2014, before making his debut for the Socceroos against Ecuador in London in March 2014. Good picked up a hip injury in that match that saw him miss the World Cup and had him sidelined for nearly two and a half years.

Most recently the defender finally made his first-team debut for the Toon in January this year in a FA Cup loss against Oxford United.

A VIS and AIS product, Good broke into the A-League with Melbourne City, then known as Melbourne Heart, in 2011.
