Socceroo Craig Goodwin starred overnight with a goal off the bench in Sparta Rotterdam’s come-from-behind 2-2 draw with Willem II in the Dutch Eredivisie.
Trailing 2-0, Goodwin, who entered the fray on 57 minutes, pulled one back in the 69th minute, sliding home from Finn Stokkers’ cross.
Moments later he had a chance to make it 2-2, but hit the side netting.
Thomas Verhaar equalized in stoppage-time, with Goodwin getting the assist.
Fellow Aussie Kenny Dougall played the full 90 minutes for Sparta.
Elsewhere, Jason Davidson was sent off after 36 minutes as Groningen lost 3-0 to rivals Heerenveen.
Davidson was involved in an altercation with Heerenveen's Arber Zeneli, where he allegedly kneed his opponent's leg.
