Sydney FC coach Graham Arnold has revealed a post-match comment from Besart Berisha has further fuelled his side's belief against Melbourne Victory.
The two clubs will meet at Allianz Stadium in Saturday's semi-final, with a spot in the 2017/18 Grand Final up for grabs.
Sydney have a remarkable recent dominance over Victory, having beaten them in their past seven encounters including last season's Grand Final on penalties.
The Sky Blues' 1-0 win over Victory a fortnight ago led to Berisha's post-game remark to an unidentified Sydney player, which Arnold said offered his side further confidence.
"We go into the game with a lot of belief," Arnold said.
"When the belief is exceptionally high and Besart tells one of our boys after the game that 'we're such a great team and they can't beat us', it gives us even more belief.
"We're at fortress Allianz. We expect to win."

Arnold also declared Dutch defender Jordy Buijs fit to play despite an injury scare.
Buijs trained away from his teammates on Thursday after waking up with a sore back.
"Everyone is great," Arnold said. "We've got a full squad to choose from.
"Mentally and physically, we haven't played for 9-10 days, so we're in great shape."
