VINCE Grella has been linked with a move to English Premier League side Fulham with manager Roy Hodgson confirming he is in the market for a defensive midfielder.
Fulham's official website is abuzz with speculation that the Torino man has been earmarked to join fellow Australians Mark Schwarzer and Adrian Leijer at Craven Cottage.
A report on Toronews.net also quotes the Torino president as saying Fulham have made an offer but the club does not want to lose him.
Fulham have been busy in the transfer market this summer and Hodgson isn't quite done yet.
He said: "There won't be many more signings but we haven't ruled out bringing in a couple more in key positions to help us out.
"We've done quite a few things already and I'm very pleased with what we've done.
"We're looking at another striker and flirting with the idea of a defensive midfield player."
