BLACKBURN midfielder Vince Grella is likely to miss Tuesday's Barclays Premier League clash at Birmingham.
The Australian was substituted before half-time in yesterday's goalless draw at Hull with a groin strain.
Manager Sam Allardyce took the player off a s a precaution and admits he is unlikely to risk him at St Andrew's.
Allardyce said: "If you leave him on it extends the injury even more or he could tear it rather than feel it tight.
"We can probably rule him out for Birmingham but I don't think any longer than that."
