Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola thinks it will take time for the team to play the kind of football he desires.
The Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League holders defeated Guardiola's former club Barcelona 2-0 in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday.
Guardiola's men have been in dominant form in pre-season, easily dispatching Hamburg and Borussia Moenchengladbach to win the Telekom Cup.
The 42-year-old has not been completely pleased with his side's performances, however, and feels there are aspects that need to improve ahead of Saturday's DFL Supercup meeting with Borussia Dortmund.
"I'm happy with what we've done so far, but we still need a little more time," he said.
"We still have to improve a bit in terms of our finishing."
Guardiola, though, is confident Bayern will be ready for the challenge posed by Juergen Klopp's men.
"We are going to be well prepared and play a good game there," he added.
